Windows98
Upgrade to Windows98 |
If you are already running Windows95 consider 195 MB,
again depending on options you might need between 120 MB
to 295 MB
Whether you're installing a new copy or upgrading,
you will feel quite comfortable with Windows...
Many people perform common mistakes while upgrading.
Make sure you don't have any program running while
installing Windows, disable any Anti-Virus or other
utility.
The safest upgrade is from MS-DOS, to see if you
have anything running before upgrading just boot to
DOS then type edit
autoexec.bat and edit config.sys,
search for any
program running. e.g Mcafee, Norton. type REM at the beginning of the line.
Note: REM will disable any program instructed to run.
