| Remove URL entries from
Communicator I am sure you always wanted to clear the URL bar in Netscape Communicator, and you never found the way. Although there's not button to press to do the job, here's the trick. Netscape Communicator stores History entries and Url addresses at C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\default
(Default is the user folder)One particular file holds the URL entries: prefs.js Try to locate the following line. user_pref("browser.url_history.URL_1", "ahomepage.com/"); Just delete what's between the last " ", make sure you leave Communicator before doing it. Next time you will see all entries deleted. |
