Carry out your address
book
Many Mail programs like Outlook Express
allow you to export your address book.
Suppose you want to switch to another program or even
make a copy of all email contacts. Instead of printing
all entries, you can store all emails in a TEXT file to
use them later.
Click FILE EXPORT ADDRESS BOOK select TEXT FILE (comma
separated values). Press BROWSE to choose a location, you
can save as Text file (.txt) or .csv (Comma Separated
Value) which generates a file read by Microsoft Excel.
Type a name e.g address.txt or address.csv Now select
which info you want to include e.g FIRST NAME ; LAST
NAME ; HOME CITY ; EMAIL ADDRESS
If you will be using the entries with Outlook Express (on
another computer), go to C:\WINDOWS\Application
Data\Microsoft\Address Book or search for *.wab
(use F3) and copy the 2 files to a floppy.
Make sure you backup the 2 files on the other computer
before putting yours.
