Making copies of your
computer disks.
You want to make copies of your Disk and don't know how,
check this out:
On you Desktop right-click your mouse and select New
Shortcut; now type DISKCOPY a: a: choose a
name for the Shortcut or leave it DiskCopy, select an
icon and click Finish. Next time you want to copy disks,
double-click the Diskcopy icon, you will prompted to
insert the floppy (Source) you want to copy and then
insert a floppy to copy to (Target), be sure the floppy
is empty or its content will be erased. Diskcopy is in
fact a DOS command that can be used in Windows to copy
disks.
You can do it another way, insert a floppy and right-click
the floppy icon inside My Computer, just follow the
instructions. You can also use the floppy Shortcut on the
desktop to do the same job.
To create a Shortcut of the Floppy simply go to My
Computer and right-click the floppy icon and select Create
Shortcut, Windows automatically places the shortcut
on the Desktop.
