site easily To gain access to a password-protected website or directory without having to type a username and password every time you want to logon, create a shortcut, simply right-click anywhere in a folder select New>>Shortcut, now type http://userid:password@sitename You can save this link in your favorites or bookmark. PS: remove the password if you don't want anyone to get it. Clear the Clipboard In a previous tip we've learned how to open the Clipboard. If you decided to clear the clipboard, first open the Clipboard Viewer by pressing Start>>Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools. Now click Edit menu and select Delete, confirm deletion by pressing Yes. To close Clipboard press File>>Exit. |
