frequently Keep your computer running smoothly by checking your Hard Drive for error using ScanDisk. The quickest way is to go to RUN and type scandisk then <enter>. Press Start to begin scanning, when you're done press close. Add a Folder to your Desktop To add a Folder to your Desktop, right-click anywhere and select New>>Folder. Type a name for your new folder then press <enter> Create an Internet Shortcut If you want to quickly access any site without opening Internet Explorer, you can create an Internet Shortcut. Right-click anywhere inside the window and select New>>Shortcut now type the website address - begin with http:// e.g http://www.teckies.com - then press Next, type a name for the shortcut e.g teckies.com magazine and press Finish. If you want to visit teckies.com simply double-click on the shortcut. |
