Organize Favorites/Bookmarks
CTRL
B is the key to organizing both Favorites (IE) and Bookmarks (Navigator/Communicator). You'd better do
it now !
- Internet
Explorer: If you're running Windows 98 or have
installed IE 4 under Windows 95, open any folder and
press CTRL B on your keyboard.
Select a shortcut or folder and click Move, then choose the
destination folder. You can Delete and Rename your favorites.
Press Close to go back.
- Netscape
Navigator/Communicator: Open your
browser and press CTRL B. In the bookmark
window, grab any entry and change its location with your
mouse using drag and drop feature.
Restore
your Address Book
If you accidentally deleted entries off your Address
Book, you can
easily restore the original copy.
Go to Windows\Application
Data\Microsoft\Address Book and simply
rename the file with .wa~ extension to WAB. Remember to
rename the main address book file (wab) to avoid "Error
renaming file".
This tip works if you're running Internet Explorer 4 or
Windows 98.
You can keep copies of both wa~ and wab files as backup.
