| Hide your Desktop icons
If you like to work under-cover, here's a trick to hide your Desktop icons. Right-click anywhere on your Desktop, in the Display Properties window go to Effects tab check "Hide icons when the Desktop is viewed as Web page" next go to Web tab and check "View my Active Desktop as a web page" press OK to confirm. Are you Online or Offline Browsers like Internet Explorer store all visited webpages on the hard drive inside the Temporary Internet Files cache folder. To know whether you're accessing a site from the internet or just getting a copy from the Hard Drive, take a look at IE4 status bar:  indicate that
you're offline accessing the site from your Hard Drive.To get a fresh copy of the site from the Internet, just press Refresh button... |
