| Backup your Bookmark/Favorites In the course of backing up, make sure you have a copy of your bookmark/favorites. You can backup to a floppy or hard drive. - Internet Explorer: go to C:\windows\favorites or just type favorites at RUN, copy all the files, paste to your floppy. To use them on another computer just place all files in the Favorites folder. - Netscape Navigator/Communicator: Netscape browser saves all your links in a single file located at C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\yourusername as bookmark.htm PUT the ADDRESS bar on the TASKBAR (Win98) Right-click on Taskbar (this is where START button lies) Select Toolbars then click on Address. Now you can type the website address in the Address field. Do the same if you want to eliminate the Address bar. This tip will also work with Windows 95 if you have Internet Explorer 4.x installed. |
